Last time, in the Varaha incarnation we saw that 2 gatekeepers of Lord Vishnu born as Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakasipu and one of that died by Lord Vishnu as Boar incarnation. After the death of his brother, Hiranyakasipu became very evil and decided to destroy all the followers and Lord Vishnu himself. He thought that if he wanted to win from him, he needed a great boon and immortality. This immortality can only be gained by Lord Brahma. So, he took penance for years and all the angels were terrified by his will and prayed Lord Brahma.

Meanwhile, Lord Indra came to know that he was not with his men. Therefore, he thought to destroy all demons and they could never attack back in future so, he attacked them with all angels. As Lord Indra expected, all the demons were defeated and most demons either died or were captured. After destroying everything, Lord Indra went to the palace of Hiranyakasipu and he found his wife Kayadhu there. Lord Indra thought to take her as a prisoner so, in future, he could use her against Hiranyakasipu. So, he was forcibly taking her to Amaravati, capital of Lord Indra in heaven, sage Narada appeared. He is the sage who can move to all the heavens, earth and underground and be a messenger for different people.

He said, “Indra Stop! What are you doing? You will get a sin for fighting with a lady who didn’t raise any weapons and you are hurting her.” Lord Indra told him that Hiranyakasipu was not there so he destroyed whole city and now taking her because in future, he could use her as hostage against him. Sage Narada said, “Taking her in a prison is the great sin as she has not harmed you and she is pure and innocent.” Lord Indra thought on this and realized this ordered his men to leave her and left. Sage Narada helped the trembling Kayadhu and asked her, “My daughter, are you alright?” She looked at him and took a deep breath and bowed him and told that if Lord Indra had took me there, I would have killed myself because Hiranyakasipu is the only man I have loved in my life.

Sage Narada helped her and calmed her and he said that he knew already that she was carrying a child and this was not good for any of them. He asked her, “What will you do now?” She looked around all the death and devastation and thought that if she stayed there, maybe someone else or Lord Indra would come. So, he asked sage Narada, “I have a request for you. I will look after you as I am your own daughter. Would you please take me to your hermitage if it is ok with you? Narada smiled and said yes as his purpose of coming there was to take her to home. He took her to his home and she looked after sage Narada well and he intelligently said her lots of stories of Lord Vishnu.

Hearing all the stories of Lord Vishnu, she developed an attachment towards Lord Vishnu. Additionally, the unborn baby in her womb also heard these stories and loved Lord Vishnu. Time has passed.

Now on the other side, Brahma got pleased with Hiranyakasipu because his penance got too powerful and because of that air, all the heavens started burning up. So, Lord Brahma went to the earth to meet Hiranyakasipu. He was so much in deep penance that he didn’t realized that Lord has come and after Lord Brahma touched him, he bowed him. Lord Brahma was pleased with his penance so he asked him to wish for a boon. He asked, “I wish to be immortal”, but Lord Brahma stopped in between and told him, “that is not possible because everyone who is born has to die. I cannot change the laws of nature.”

Hiranyakasipu thought to ask for something which makes impossible for him to die. He continued, “Lord, I wish that I cannot be killed by any man or God or animal or any other creature which is created by you. Nobody can kill me during day or night, in earth or in heavens, either inside or outside of the house, not with any weapons.” When Lord Brahma heard this he got silent as he has to grant this and he had no choice. So, he told Lord Vishnu, “I think you will need to take care of this.” And then he grated Hiranyakasipu’s wish. Afterwards, Lord vanished and Hiranyakasipu joyously went home. He hurt to see all the devastation happened in his state. He got too angry and went to heaven to take the revenge.

All the angels had to leave the heavens and he found his wife Kayadhu there and took her back to the palace. Despite she asked to change his ways and stop all the attacks and all, he continued. It was a time when none able to raise a voice against him and Kayadhu gave a birth to Prahlad. As he was there with Narada, he became too different than his father. As he started growing up, he continued to pray Lord Vishnu and his firm, kind and gentle gesture created problems for Hiranyakasipu as people started loving Prahlad for his worships. Hiranyakasipu wanted him to be worshipped as God above of Lord Vishnu. He went to Prahlad and tried to talk. But he was shunned by the reply he got. Prahlad said, “I have learnt that Lord Vishnu who is the ruler of the three worlds, if you devoted him, he will be always there for us.” He got angry on him and went to the teacher. The teacher was terrified with Hiranyakasipu and he said that he did not teach a single thing from this. He told him about how he learned about Lord Vishnu. At school, he said the same story to everyone.

Hiranyakasipu got angry and went to Prahlad to ask about how he learned this. Prahlad replied, “It is the truth which I found everywhere. In every single leaf and everywhere.” Hiranyakasipu got angry and he ordered to kill his son and the guard looked at him with anxiety. They took him and tried to kill with the sword, but the blade did not go through his body. Then they tried to throw him from the mountain, but again he was back and saved. They threw him in the snake well, but he came back without any problem. They tried mad elephants, but everything becomes alright wherever he went. After tired of everything, Hiranyakasipu called his sister Holika and asked her for the help. She had the boon that the fire cannot burn her. She made sit him in her lap and set the fire. However, Hiranyakasipu could not calculate the power of devotion and she started burning in the fire whereas Prahlad was fine. In Hindu, Holi is burnt every year as part of this to burn all the sins and second day, people play with colors to celebrate this.

Now, Hiranyakasipu was afraid and he catched Prahlad and asked, “I am going to kill you myself and I would see from where Lord Vishnu is coming to save you.” He asked Prahlad, “show me where is Lord Vishnu?” Prahlad pointed towards one pillar and Hiranyakasipu got shunned as the pillar shatter and from the pillar some ferocious figure came out. Hiranyakasipu stepped back and asked, “who are you in the face of lion and body of a man?” That figure said loudly, “I am Narsimha, one incarnation of Lord Vishnu and I have come to kill you.” They both started fighting. Lord Vishnu dragged him near the threshold of the door (neither inside nor outside) and he placed him on his lap (neither earth not heaven) and then killed him with his claws (no weapon) at twilight (neither day nor night). After killing him, he roared loudly and sat on the throne. All the demons escaped and even angels were also afraid to see this figure.

Only Prahlad was standing there and said, “Thank you My Lord, you came to protect me. I knew you would come.” He asked Prahlad to grant a boon. Prahlad asked peace for his father. Looking at the little Prahlad, he smiled and said, “don’t worry for your father. He will attain his place back after 3 births. He has born like this because of a curse.” Afterwards, Prahlad became the ruler and he left all bad practices and created heaven on the earth.

For that contact me on the same. Now, let’s start with the forth avatar of Lord Vishnu.

Before we go to the story, I would like to tell you about the background. So, you can understand how past life deeds affect everyone. Also, there is a big secret which was known by Indian sages and science proved it just some years before. I am going to disclose that at the end. It starts with the doorkeepers of Lord Vishnu. As everybody knows, Lord Vishnu lives in Vaikunth and his home is safeguarded by 2 gatekeepers – Jaya and Vijaya. They both love Lord Vishnu and take care of whom to enter in the Vaikunth at what time as they really love Lord Vishnu and they want he never gets disturbed by anyone.

One day, four children of Lord Brahma came to the Vaikunth. They wanted to go in and meet Lord Vishnu. At that time, Lord Vishnu was resting and sleeping. Jaya and Vijaya did not let them to enter. The four sons got very angry and they cursed both the doorkeepers that they both had to incarnate as humans on the earth and their godly status would be destroyed. In a little time, Lord Vishnu came out and they saw them. They got to know about the situation. He told the sons of Brahma that Jaya and Vijaya were performing their duties. Jaya and Vijaya cried in front of Lord Vishnu and asked to take the curse back. Lord Vishnu told them he cannot take the curse back, but he could decrease. Lord said them to take 7 births as his devotees. Vijaya said this is too much because he thought for seven births he would not be able to see Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu said them to take 3 births as his enemy. They actually were shocked, but then decided that it was shorter duration. So, they agreed to take 3 births as enemies.

They took first birth as Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakasipu. Before they born, the earth was not in a proper shape. People were very sinful and they fought often means total discordance. The earth prayed Lord Vishnu to save her. Meanwhile, Hiranyaksha, a great devotee of Lord Brahma, worshiped for years and got a boon from Lord Brahma. According to the boon, no God, human, asura (demon), angel, animal (he gave list of animals) or beast can kill him. However, he forgot to mention boar in his list of animals. Afterwards, he started torturing all the people. He also increased his power to multifold. Occasionally, some Gods used to fight with him. So, he thought all the power of Gods comes from the earth. So, if they have no more access to the earth, their power would fade away.

He went to the space and shook the whole earth with his powers. The earth slipped from its axis. Then he called the Lord of sea, Varuna. Who is the strongest person? Varuna replied, “Lord Vishnu”. He got strange gut feeling, but he did not remember who he was. So, he took the earth, made it round by his hands and put it down in the sea. Lord Vishnu heard the prayer of the mother earth. He took incarnation as a boar animal from the nostril of the Lord Brahma. He held the mother earth on his 2 horns of nose and put it back to the axis. Then, Hiranyaksha challenged Lord Vishnu for fighting. They both fought with stones and weapons and at last, Lord Vishnu killed him with horns and at the last breath, he remembered Lord Vishnu. This was Lord Vishnu’s boar incarnation to save the mother earth and also save his gatekeeper.

So, now you want to know the secret. The secret is, the earth is round is discovered a few hundred years back scientifically. But the Indian sages knew thousands of years back. Though they don’t have any specific instruments to see, but they have inner powers which can take them everywhere. They would able to see the whole universe from the inner eyes. They knew the earth is round from before as they wrote this in scriptures many years ago.

Lord Vishnu - Second Avatar - Kurma Avatar (Turtle)

Before Kurma Avatar, I want to tell you something else. Everyone has problems which are generated from the planetary energy imbalance. This imbalance is created by our Karma of all births till now and because of that some people get things easily whereas others have to work harder. Because of this karma, we born at a particular date and got particular family and people around us. I see and solve problems based on planetary energy in your birth chart and give you the best solutions and remedies for your problems by astrology, the science discovered by Indian sages. That helps to balance the energy and heal your problems from inside out. Mail me on reikimasterdhwani@gmail.com for getting your consultation. I do not predict on birth chart of a child under age of 12 years unless any serious health issue.

Devta (good doers or angels) and Asura (bad doers or demons) were siblings as they born from the same father named Rishi Kashyapa. They used to have a lot of fights among them to get the paradise and become all powerful. Let us see the background of the story. Once upon a time in Satya Yuga, Rishi Durvasa, ancient great sage, gifted a garland of flowers to the Indra who is the king of all angels. Indra has an elephant named Airavata and he uses it as a vehicle. Indra gave this garland to the elephant to decorate it around his neck. But the elephant was playing with it and it threw that garland on the ground and trampled it. Sage Durvasa witnessed this and got very angry due to desecration of his gift. He cursed Indra and other angels that they all will lose their power and kingdom. By knowing this the asura who are devils conquered the angels by fighting war for many years. Even though angels fought valiantly, they are defeated by the demons. They lost everything so they went to Brahma and Shiva, but they said no for intervene. At last, they went to lord Vishnu.

The lord Vishnu who always saves the angels from the demons, thought about this. He suggested pouring some divine herbs into the sea of milk and use the mountain Mandarachal as the churning stick and use serpent Vasuki for wrapping the mountain and one side held by angels whereas the other side by demons. This way the elixir came out and by drinking it the angels could be immortal. Although, angels were powerful, they could not uproot the mountain, so the lord Vishnu advised them to joint with the demons. They went to the asuras and they both got agree to churn the sea. As the churning began, the lord Vishnu directed the angels to take the head of the serpent. As the demons saw that and smelled a foul play and without the second thought, they wanted the head and reverse psychology of lord Vishnu worked. As the churning began, many of the demons died due to the poisonous breath of the serpent.

Many good things including the Kamdhenu (the cow fulfills all the wishes), medicines, jewels, Goddess Lakshmi, white horse and many more things came out. During this, due to mud at the bottom, the mountain of the Mandarachal started shrinking. To continue this churning, the mountain should not be shrunk at the bottom. To support this mountain, lord Vishnu took the birth in form of tortoise which is called Kurma in Sanskrit. He supported the mountain on his back. And the churning remained continued. The further story and how the curse lifted, I will tell you in the next avatar called Mohini.

Kurma avatar depicted the tortoise. In the modern era, Kurma is not worshipped so widely, but taken as a creative incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Kurma avatar also supported the creation of poison from the sea as well as the elixir. This shows the part of Yin and Yang of the modern era. Everything has 2 sides: positive and negative. Both sides are required for the sustenance of the universe.

Matsya Avatar - First Avatar of Lord Vishnu

In the ancient Indian religious books, 24 avatar of Lord Vishnu are given. One of his Avatar is named as Matsya (Fish) Avatar. Today, we are going to talk about this. In the Hindu Mythology, there are 4 eras (Yug)- Satya Yug, Treta Yug, Dwapara Yug and Kali Yug. Each era is a day for Lord Brahma and which is around 4320 million years. After end of each era lord Brahma goes to sleep and due to that all the creations of him which includes all the humans and life die. And the universe comes to the end. Lord Vishnu is the God who always takes a birth in different forms to protect the world from evil and reestablishment of the Dharma (truth) in the universe.

Before this avatar, let's see some background of this. It was a Satya yug which was about to end. There was a kind named Satyavrata, kind of pre-ancient Dravida. He was a big devotee of the lord Vishnu, but the he has not yet won his ego for his devotion and power. Once upon a time, he went to the river for his daily rituals. One fish came into his palm with water when he was pouring water to the sun with prayers. The fish talked in the human voice, “O King, please do not put me back to the water, a big fish will eat me.” The kind felt pity on the fish and he said he will give place it to his palace. The fish said, “Is his palace enough big to live for a fish?” King laughed in ego and said, “It is more than enough. He can establish whole city in that space.” The king put it in the Kamadalam which is a small jug carried by a sage. Then he took it to his palace.

In palace, he kept it in a small vessel and then next morning he heard the voice again, “O King, please save me.” The king went to see the fish where he saw that it has become as big as vessel. The king got amused and he transferred the fish to the bigger vessel. Next morning again the same voice, “O King, please save me.” The fish became very big that he cannot keep it in the palace. He took it to the river and then within a few seconds, it became a giant whale like fish. The king was speechless because a tiny 10 cm fish grew to the 10 meter fish within 2-3 days. He felt that this is not a normal fish. He bowed to the fish and asked, “I am sorry that I had ego for my devotion. I thought my palace is too big and I can keep everything in that. I am leaving this ego and devote you for your greatness. I feel you are Lord Vishnu. Please tell me the truth.

The Lord Vishnu saw his original incarnation of 4 hands with Gada, Chakra, Shankh and Lotus. The fish said, “You are my devotee and you wanted to see me so here I am. After 7 days there will be a great flood on this earth as well as to whole universe. You need to make a boat for that. In which, you will carry 7 sages and all the seeds of plants and all the lives’ seeds. During that flood you will find Vasuki Nag (snake God) and me. You need to tie your boat with that snake to me and I will guide you through the flood. During the journey, I will give you Brahma Gyana.

During the other side, Brahma was about to sleep before the flood. Asura Hayagriva thought that this was the best time to steal Veda (all the occult knowledge books). He stole the knowledge and hid in the deep ocean where none can reach. So, this fish saw the asura Hayagriva and attacked him. After a long fight between them, Hayagriva died. Vedas were collected and given back to the Lord Brahma who is still asleep. Now, after those 7 days, there was a big flood. King Satyavrata built a boat already and went to the Meru Mountain with 7 sage and other seeds. He saw the boat in between a big flood and rain and went into the boat.

Soon the fish appeared and Vasuki snake and kind Satyavrata tied it to the fish and the boat got stable in that flood. After some days, the flood was over and it went safely to the shore as water level also got decreased. During the voyage, the fish taught Vedas to Satyavrata and afterwards he was known as Rishi Manu. The fish took them near the Himalayas and there the new Yug (Dwapara) was started. Many of the ancient books claims this as the first Avatar, but it differs in other texts.
